Ah, it is that time of year again!
I have participated in Inktober several times, though I've only ever completed the challenge twice, which was the last 2 years. Both years I followed a prompt list called Catober, and I enjoyed them a lot, but felt that this year's list was a bit...lackluster. Reusing ideas from the last 2 years, mostly. Last year I compiled all my drawings onto one sheet of paper and did them as kittipuffs. I had a blast doing it but didn't want to do the same thing 2 years in a row.
So, I've returned to my arch-nemesis : the official Inktober prompt list. The last 2 times I attempted the official list I failed. Horribly.
This year I'm planning on sticking with the list, but I'm approaching it with the idea of "If a client were to come to me and ask me to design a tattoo based on one word, artist's choice, what would I come up with?" and I think it is off to a great start!
